1. Scope

This policy explains how Masi uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies at www.masiextrusion.com. It is designed to provide notice and control before non-essential technologies are activated, including protections against unauthorized tracking or interception practices covered by applicable laws such as the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA).

This information is not legal advice. The application of CIPA and other laws may depend on the tools, providers, and flows added to the site in the future.

2. What we currently use

The site does not load analytics, advertising tags, fingerprinting, or session recording before affirmative consent. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 is activated to measure visits and interactions, and Google Ads to measure advertising campaigns. The Google map on the contact page loads only when you press the button requesting it.

  • Consent preference: the browser may store the choice to accept or reject non-essential technologies locally using masi_cookie_consent. It is not sent to Masi and does not contain personal data.
  • Essential content: pages, locally hosted images, navigation, the email contact form, and the WhatsApp link work without activating non-essential tracking.
  • Google Analytics 4: the G-F70H3VP5ZS tag loads only after you accept. Google may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to recognize visits and receive information about the pages viewed. Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Google Ads: the AW-18488278421 tag is configured only after acceptance, sharing the Google tag loader with Analytics. Google may receive browsing data and identifiers associated with ad clicks and set cookies such as _gcl_* to measure and attribute campaigns. Google's privacy policy applies. Masi's code does not send form contents to Google Ads.
  • Interaction events: after acceptance, we measure contact clicks, quote requests, catalog download starts, and location requests. Custom events include only the language, control location, contact channel, or a public catalog identifier; they do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, or form contents. Actions before acceptance are not stored for later transmission.
  • Google Maps: the embedded map remains disabled until the visitor presses Load map. At that point, the browser connects to Google and its privacy policies and technologies may apply.

3. Prior consent

A notice appears when the site opens, before any non-essential technology can be activated. A visitor can:

  • accept and continue;
  • reject non-essential technologies and continue using essential features; or
  • read this policy before deciding.

Access to essential content is not conditioned on accepting non-essential technologies. Google Analytics and Google Ads activate only after acceptance. If another advertising, remarketing, session-recording tool, or provider that receives browser identifiers is added, it must respect affirmative consent and this policy will be updated when the described processing changes.

4. CIPA and third-party communications

Masi does not include session-recording software, form-listening tools, or third-party chat before consent. After acceptance, Google Analytics receives browsing data to measure visits and interactions, and Google Ads to measure campaigns; these tags do not activate before the choice.

WhatsApp, email, and telephone links open the chosen service only after a visitor clicks. From that point, the third party’s privacy policy may apply; Masi does not control its practices.

5. Changing your choice

You can reopen the panel at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. You can also clear this site's local storage from your browser settings. If you reject after accepting, the site clears the Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies it can access and reloads the page without these tags. It cannot delete cookies on third-party domains; you can manage those in your browser.
